Design Wales
Below
are some case studies of some of our
recent projects:
HOVAC
We recently designed the Heads of the Valley Auto Club website to
help promote the famous Braces Bakery sponsored 1000 Lanes Rally. To
find out more about entering the rally visit the site and read the
regulations. The site was re-designed using css.
Pontypridd Town
Set up ten years ago to highlight the state
of the town centre this site has
gone from strength to strength with it's often outspoken views on
re-development.
Recently the site administrators
have re-designed the site in css, added some new pages and updated
the shopping links. This very
large
site has news, history, pub guides and comprehensive
links section and also
links seamlessly to the local
unofficial
rugby
site
as well as the new
photographic
site.
Tastebuddies
In April 2008 we launched the Tastebuddies
website for cookery expert Gaynor Jones. The site outlines the
healthy eating training and cookery lessons her company can provide
for your organisation. The site also contains sample recipes as well
as information on how to book a course.
Cwm Rhondda Male Voice Choir
Also in December 2007 we launched the Cwm Rhondda Male Voice Choir
website. This site is being updated and will eventually have
downloadable music of the choir singing their favourite hymns.
Cancer Research Genetics
In December 2007 we developed a website for Cancer Research
Genetics, a charity set up to educate people about the links between
genetics and cancer.
Coedpenmaen Baptist Church
In May 2007 we designed the new web presence for Coedpenmaen Baptist
Church,
in Trallwng, Pontypridd. A hugely popular church right at the heart
of the local
community.
The Welsh Poetry Competition
March 2007 sees the launch of the brand new "Welsh Poetry
Competition". Aiming
to encourage and foster the wealth of creative
writing talent that exists in Wales
but currently languishes in the doldrums. Looking to the future the site organisers
hope the
competition will become a truly international competition,
accessible to
all and truly respected as an honest appreciation of
populist, good quality,
innovative, work.
Creigiau Tyres Recycling
In August 2006 we developed the corporate presence for South Wales
company
Creigiau Tyres Recycling, who recycle all types of waste
rubber products, especially
tyres and manufacture rubber crumb that
is used in equestrian centres, gardens
and other industries.
John Hamilton Solicitors
In July 2006 we re-designed the corporate
presence for Pontypridd solicitors
John Hamilton in order to better
reflect their current work. We have also marketed
the website
online.
Celtic Landscaping Ltd.
We were approached by one of Wales' leading landscaping gardening
companies -
Celtic Landscaping Ltd - to establish a web presence for
them and illustrate some of
their corporate work. We have recently
added more examples of their work.
R. H. Jeffs & Rowe
In December 2005 we re-designed two corporate
websites for Wales' leading
club accountants
to take into account their assurance services,
audit, NGB, CASC,
charity and sporting links.
Site Gear Services Ltd.
Site Gear Services are plant hire specialists who can
supply Thwaites, Takeuchi,
Bomag, Thomas, Digga
and Ingersoll Rand for all your construction needs.
We
developed a new website with Flash introduction
for SGS in August 2005.
Min-Ex Plant Services Ltd.
Min-Ex is one of the largest and busiest plant sales
contractors in Wales today.
Min-Ex are distributors for Thwaites site dumpers, Takeuchi excavators and
attachments,
Bomag compaction equipment, Thomas
multi purpose loaders and many other leading
construction equipment manufacturers for the areas
of South and West Wales. We
were delighted to be
asked to re-design their corporate web presence.
Cymmer Ward - Communities First
The Communities First programme is a
long-term strategy for improving the living
conditions and prospects for people in the
most disadvantaged communities in Wales.
We developed a website for the local Cymmer
group who seek to ensure that the
funds and
support available from the Welsh Assembly Government and various other
publicly funded
agencies are targeted at the poorest areas.
